Good question???
A Young Guider is a member of the Guide Association who holds a warrant or pre-warrant appointment card and is between 18 and 25 years old.

THAT MEANS YOU!

What does this mean?
Well, it means that you are also member of the Senior Section along with all the Rangers, Young Leaders and older Guides in the country.

so?
This means that a Young Guider can not only participate in all the usual, unit, district, division and county events but also take part in things specifically organised for the Senior Section as well as the Programme for the Senior Section "Look Wider". You can take part in "Look Wider" on your own or as part of a "Look Wider" group which could be a Ranger Unit, Young Leader group or a group set up just for the purpose.

A Young Guider can also do DofE, Queens Guide, Leadership Scheme, Camp and Holidays Scheme etc etc. But... only if YOU want to.

For more information on what is available to you check out the news page for events or contact the Young Guider Rep' who will happily give advice or tell you where to go next. Want to do your Queens Guide Award - she has the contact details for the Queen Guide Award advisor.
